Patties are in ONE large bag with a very thin sheet of paper between each layer. ***PLEASE NOTE: They are hard to pull apart when frozen - please see note below before ordering.**
This bulk box of patties (around 15lbs worth of patties per box) can be difficult to get apart and we want to make sure you are prepared and ready for it! :)
There are a few different ways to achieve getting the patties apart that we have found.
Option 1) Stick a sharp sturdy knife at the dividing line of a stack of patties and bump the handle downward to get the stack to break off from the rest of the patties. You can then put this stack in a container/bag and place in fridge to defrost. Be sure to cook within 3-4 days of defrosting.
Option 2) Place the bulk patties on the short end and put a sharp sturdy knife in between a patty and bump the handle until the patty separates from the stack. Pull off the thin paper and cook. You can keep all patties frozen and just break off the exact number of patties you want to use as you go.
Option 3) Defrost the entire box. Cook all the patties and freeze precooked patties. Then just warm up as you need them!
