New Order Minimums - Beginning August 1st Catch up here >>>

We are so excited to have worked out arrangements for 2 local farmers to produce lamb for our farm! These family farms are raising the lambs for us, and we are processing and selling the pastured lamb meat under the J&L Green Farm label.

Janet and David Poyser and their family raise lambs on pasture at their family farm...which connects to ours. :) These lambs live a peaceful life in grassy fields with plenty of fresh air and sunshine. They are given small amounts of grain to keep them trained and easy to handle, but the majority of their diet comes from the lush, green pastures where they are rotationally grazed (just like our beef cows are).

Radell and Sarah Schrock and their family raise lambs on 70 acres just 30 minutes from our farm. Their lambs graze fresh grass on open pasture and are supplemented with hay and grain. Like us, they use rotational grazing to steward the land and ensure plenty of fresh greenery for the lambs to enjoy, along with clean Shenandoah Valley air and lots of sunshine.
