How to Store & Organize Recipe Printouts

So you've started cooking more at home, or you or a family member have started a new dietary protocol. What do you need? RECIPES! Where are you going to keep them? Ummm...

Here's a solution that worked for me.

Grab:

  • an empty 3-ring binder with a front inner pocket
  • a 3-hole punch (the cheapo kind that stores in the binder is totally fine!)
  • a few dividers (optional)

Try this:

1. Whenever you print a recipe, place it in the front pocket with other recipes you want to try.

2. After you try a recipe, make the call: Did we like it? If yes - punch holes and store permanently in binder rings. If no - toss into your scrap paper pile, or recycle. :)

Extra Tip: Throw in a few dividers to categorize recipes into the types your family eats most (snacks, main dishes, soups, "KIDS WILL EAT";) etc.)

What strategies work for you?

Be well,
