Broccoli Bacon Quiche

You can cook this quiche to serve right away or bake the day prior and warm up to serve in morning.
Ingredients
- (1/2 lb.) Pork Smoked Bacon
- (4 eggs) Dozen Pastured Eggs
- (1 Cup) Gouda - Raw Milk Cheese
Directions
4 slices of J&L Green Farm Smoked Bacon
4 Pastured Chicken Eggs
1 c. half & half or coconut milk
1 c. grated Raw Milk Gouda cheese, grated (for dairy free option: use 1/4 cup nutritional yeast)
2 c. broccoli flowerets
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. lemon pepper
Cut bacon into small pieces and cook on medium in cast iron pan with lard until crisp and set aside. Beat eggs with milk and grated cheese. Stir in broccoli, salt, garlic powder and lemon pepper. Add bacon into egg mixture. Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
