We tap our trees during the quiet days of winter, when farm chores are lighter and nights are longer.  We honor nature’s perfection by adding NO corn syrup or other sweeteners to our premium black walnut syrup.

The result is a deliciously smoky, nutty, and savory syrup perfect for special occasions or every day.

SUGGESTED USES:

  • Enjoy on breakfast pancakes, waffles, or French toast, or make a glaze for doughnuts!
  • Naturally sweeten coffee
  • Makes a delicious glaze for a pastured holiday ham
  • Makes a great simple syrup for those who enjoy an old-fashioned whiskey

A FEW FUN FACTS:

1) It takes 5 GALLONS of sap to make ONE 8oz jar of black walnut syrup!

2) Sap is clear when it comes out of the tree; boiling is what gives it the amber color of syrup.

3) Sap only has correct sugar content mid-winter, lasting only about a month!

4) Most black walnut syrup on the market is diluted with corn syrup or some other sweetener.  We keep ours pure!

5) Sitting by a fire reduces stress and anxiety by 100%. Okay, maybe we just made that one up, but perhaps it's true! ;)

Helpful Tip: If you are local and want to return your glass bottle once it's empty, we'd be glad to recycle!
